They offered the African chief/president, whoever the f, trinkets and gin in exchange for Africans that they eventually planned to use as slaves. The African chief was the only one who profited by selling us...and I believe that! But nobody talks about that. Europeans didn't start running and chasing (right 😂) us and snatching and throwing us on the ships. We were sold for trinkets and gin-thank you chief. Mind blown-boom!
